Recipe For Real American Carrot Cake


Ingredients :

- 450 g sugar
- 250 ml cooking oil
- 4 chicken eggs
- 200 g carrots cut julienne (thin like matchsticks)
- 1 can pineapple, dumped the water and cut into small dice
- 175 g walnuts, finely chopped

Sift together :

- 240 g flour versatile
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 11/2 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 tsp salt

Frosting :

- 250 g cream cheese (cream cheese)
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 250 g flour sugar

How to Make a Real American Carrot Cake :

1. Beat sugar and cooking oil until thick. Enter the flour mixture, stirring until blended.
2. Add the eggs and mix well.
3. Add the carrots, pineapple and walnuts. Stir well.
4. Pour batter into baking pan that has been buttered. Bake in hot oven temperature of 180 0C for 60 minutes or until cooked. Remove, remove from pan to cool.
5. Frosting: Beat cream cheese, unsalted butter, sugar and flour.
6. Brush the cake with frosting cream until blended, cut into pieces. Serve.
